SATIN

The SATIN project focuses onHealth, Territory, Innovation, and Digital.  As part of the France 2030 initiative, through the Call for Expressions of Interest ”Skills and Jobs of the Future”), – Digital Health component, led by the French Government and managed by the French National Research Agency (ANR).

An ambitious goal: creating a common culture between health and digital

SATIN aims to foster synergies between students and professionals from the health and digital sectors. This project relies on two main actions:

Action 1

Develop full-time and and continuing training programmes in digital health for medical and health and social students and professionals.

Action 2

Create a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Health within the Master’s in Computer Science of the Faculty of Sciences.

A collaborative ecosystem dedicated to the project

SATIN relies on a solid consortium composed of the Normandy Region, the Regional Health Agency (ARS, the French acronym for “Agencerégionale de santé”) of Normandy, the Caen University Hospital (CHU), the Regional Union of Private Doctors (URML, the French acronym for “Union régionale des médecins libéraux”), the Institute for Social Work (IRTS, the French acronym for “Institut du travail social”), and Normand’e-santé (a regional digital health organization in Normandy).

Such ecosystem brings together local industrial, institutional, and academic forces to build an innovative and sustainable model for digital health.

Innovate to face tomorrow’s challenges

The SATIN project includes innovative educational elements. Besides, the project is developed to provide sustainable solutions to the challenges identified in the Government’s digital health acceleration strategy and to territorial issues, both for industry and healthcare.
